This paper presents our efforts for enhancing the HVAC system of the electrical engineering department of Sharif University to a smart HVAC system for the reduction of the energy consumption of this building for heating and colling. To achieve this goal, we equipped the EE department with 116 smart thermostats and also our smart engine room module,
